Yaşar Sarı Professor, Ibn Haldun University

Prof. Dr. Yaşar Sarı is a professor and director at Ibn Haldun University, specializing in Eurasian studies and international relations. He earned his Ph.D. in International Relations from the University of Virginia, with a focus on the foreign policies of the Caucasus states. Dr. Sarı has held significant teaching and research roles across Türkiye, the United States, and Central Asia.

Over his career, Dr. Sarı has served in academic positions at Bolu Abant Izzet Baysal University, Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, and the American University of Central Asia, among others. His teaching repertoire includes courses on International Relations Theory, Central Asian Politics, and Political Economy.

An accomplished author, Dr. Sarı has published extensively on Central Asia, the Caucasus, energy diplomacy, nationalism, foreign policy analysis, Russian foreign policy, and Turkish foreign policy.
