Xiaoming Zhang is the founder and owner of W.Ming International Ltd. – an art/culture advisory company. W.Ming also helps artists with representations, commercial and museum exhibitions and commissions living artists for public and private art projects. She also serves as an independent international advisor/business getter for world-leading auction houses. Zhang serves as an international advisory consultant for many institutions. Zhang was the co-founder of GAWA Global Ltd. And helped develop the showrooms in Shanghai and New York. Previously, she was the Vice President, worldwide Senior Specialist and Head of Asian Modern and Contemporary Art sales and the Department of Chinese Contemporary Art at Sotheby’s.

In 2008 she served as a Senior Specialist of Contemporary Art for China Guardian International Auction Co. Zhang lectures widely on Modern and Contemporary Art and the art market.
