Tom Young is a trained painter and architect currently based in Beirut. His painting and installations have been showcased in iconic locations such as La Maison Rose and the Grand Hotel Sofar. He also has a forthcoming exhibition at Hammam Al Jadeed in Saida Old Souq that explores themes of memory, transformation, and contradiction. Mr Young often combines his painting practice with architectural activism and art therapy for children, and has collaborated with children through several orphanage, refugee, and cancer treatment institutions in Lebanon.
Mr Young conducted his foundation studies in art and design at the Norwich School of art and received his BA from Newcastle University. He also time spent studying at Istanbul School of Design and Technology.
