Serdar Demirel is the vice president of Defence Industries. He has a Mechanical Engineering degree from Istanbul Technical University. He also has double MBA degrees from both İstanbul University in 1988 and National University, USA in 2001. He is also the alumni of Harvard Kennedy School of Government, USA for the fellowship programs in 2006 and 2008

Since 1986 he served as a Director on Contracts & Cost Analysis and Missiles Branches. After serving as the Department Head Naval Systems for 5 years, Demirel was appointed as Vice President, in 2012.
