Mark Cutts DEPUTY REGIONAL HUMANITARIAN COORDINATOR FOR THE SYRIA CRISIS, UN

Mark Cutts is the United Nations Deputy Regional Humanitarian Coordinator for the Syria crisis. He has worked on many of the world’s biggest humanitarian emergencies of the last three decades, including in Sudan, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Somalia, Iraq, Palestine, Jordan, Syria, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Myanmar. He previously served with the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and with the UN High Commissioner for Refugees. Prior to joining the UN he worked for non-Governmental organisations in Africa, the Middle East and Asia. He has a degree in Theology from the University of Durham and an M.Phil. in International Relations from the University of Cambridge.
