Lauren M. Speranza DIRECTOR OF THE TRANSATLANTIC DEFENSE AND SECURITY PROGRAM AT THE CENTER FOR EUROPEAN POLICY ANALYSIS (CEPA)

Lauren Speranza is Director of the Transatlantic Defense and Security program at the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA), leading work on NATO and defence cooperation with allies and partners. She has written extensively on Russian and Chinese hybrid threats, NATO adaptation, deterrence in Europe, and defence technology. She has provided analysis to senior policymakers and media across NATO, the EU, and their member states. Previously, Lauren was Deputy Director of the Transatlantic Security Initiative at the Atlantic Council. She also held fellowships with the Atlantik-Brücke and Hertog Foundation. Lauren has a BA in Political Science and International Studies from Elon University and an MA in International Security from the Brussels School of International Studies
