Hüseyin Saltuk Düzyol has over 34 years of experience in the public and private sectors, with a focus on international contract and project management, particularly in defense and the oil and gas industries. From 2004 to 2009, he served as Chairman and General Manager of BOTAŞ, where he oversaw the construction of 7,000 kilometers of gas transmission networks in Türkiye and major projects like the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Crude Oil Pipeline and the Türkiye-Greece Gas Interconnector. He also led gas sales negotiations with key suppliers and served on the Executive Boards of the Mediterranean Energy Observatory and the Turkish State Enterprises Association.
In 2010, Düzyol joined Kolin Group as President of its Energy Group, managing large-scale energy investments. In 2013, he was appointed CEO of TANAP Natural Gas Transmission Co., where he led the $6.3 billion Trans Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline Project, which was completed ahead of schedule and under budget. For his leadership, he received the Friendship Medal from Azerbaijan’s President, and TANAP was named 2020 Project of the Year by the Project Management Institute.
Düzyol holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering, an MBA from Imperial College London, and a PhD in Economics.
