Mehmet Demiroğlu PhD; General Manager, TUSAŞ

Mehmet Demiroğlu earned his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Yıldız Technical University and went on to complete both his master’s and doctoral degrees at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He began his career as an Aerospace Engineer at the Eskişehir Air Supply Center, later working as a Project Engineer at Advanced Innovative Technologies.

From 2001 to 2004, Demiroğlu served as a Project Manager at Pro/Solutions International and subsequently worked as a Design Engineer at the GE Global Research Center. He held various engineering roles at GE Energy Storage and GE Energy before founding GRTC in 2012, where he served as CEO.

He continued his career as R&D Director and Assistant General Manager at BMC Power, and then as Turboshaft Program Director and R&D Director at TEI. Following his tenure as President of the Turkish Aerospace Academy from 2021 to 2022, he became Executive Vice President for Helicopters.

On June 11, 2024, Demiroğlu was appointed President and CEO of Turkish Aerospace.
