Dajana Barusic graduated from Sakarya University in 2020 and obtained a Master’s degree from the Faculty for History, Geography, and Languages at Ankara University. In addition to this, she works as a researcher and columnist at the Institute of Strategic Thinking in Ankara. Her research area focuses on the modern history of Bosnia and Herzegovina during the transition period from the Ottoman Empire to the Habsburg Monarchy. Her interests also encompass the formation of national identity in the Balkans during the late Ottoman period, the history of Yugoslavia, cultural history, current issues, and strategic questions of the Western Balkans.
