Chris Hegadorn is a consultant focused on global food security, conflict resolution, and economic development. A retired US diplomat with 25 years of international experience, he most recently served as Executive Secretary of the UN’s Committee on World Food Security (CFS) in Rome from March 2019 to November 2022.
During his distinguished career, Chris served in China, Africa, Europe and the Near East, earning 15 individual and group honour awards. He has a Bachelor’s degree from Bryant University and advanced degrees from the University of Pittsburgh and the US National Defence University. He currently lives and works in France.
