Choi Shing Kwok CEO, Director and Head, the ISEAS – Yusof Ishak Institute

Mr. Choi Shing Kwok has been the Director and CEO of ISEAS – Yusof Ishak Institute since January 2018 and became Head of the ASEAN Studies Centre in March 2020. He holds various board and advisory roles in Singapore. Previously, he served as Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources (2012-2017) and the Ministry of Transport (2005-2012). A former Singapore Armed Forces officer, he holds degrees from the University of Cambridge and Harvard University. Mr. Choi was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Silver) and the Meritorious Service Medal.
