Çağrı Erhan, holding BA and MA degrees in International Relations from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Science, earned his Ph.D. from Hacettepe University Department of History. Starting as a research assistant in 1994, he became a full professor at Ankara University between 2008 and 2015, also serving as the director of the European Research Center during that period. Since June 2015, he has been the rector of Altınbaş University. In 2018, Erhan joined the Presidential Council of Foreign and Security Policies of the Republic of Turkey. His academic journey includes studies at George Washington University, Georgetown University, and Tel-Aviv University, focusing on security issues. As a guest professor at Tokyo Chuo University in 2007, he lectured on the European Union at the graduate level. Erhan, a founding editor of journals such as “Uluslararası İlişkiler” and “Ankara Review of European Studies,” received prestigious fellowships and authored notable books, including “Turkish American Relations: Past, Present and Future” (London, Routledge, 2004).
