Azzam Tamimi PhD; Editor-in-chief, Alhiwar TV Channel

Dr. Azzam Tamimi is the editor-in-chief of the London-based Alhiwar TV Channel. He previously lectured at the Markfield Institute of Higher Education in the UK (2000–2004) and was a visiting professor at Kyoto University and Nagoya University in Japan (2004–2007). Dr. Tamimi has authored several books, including Rachid Ghannouchi: Democrat within Islamism (Oxford University Press, 2001), Islam and Secularism in the Middle East (Hurst & NY University Press, 2000), and Hamas: Unwritten Chapters (London & NY, 2007).
