Akhror Burkhanov has been the Press Secretary of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan since February 2023, serving as an advisor on information policy and the official spokesperson for the ministry. Previously, he worked at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the U.S., overseeing media, public diplomacy, and bilateral relations with Brazil. A career diplomat, he has held roles in the Department for Cooperation with the UN, and other key departments. He holds a degree in economics from Westminster International University in Tashkent and a graduate degree in development policy from the KDI School of Public Policy and Management.
