Dr. Abdurrahim Sıradağ is an associate professor in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University in Istanbul, Turkey. He earned his B.A. in International Relations from Sakarya University (2006), his M.A. in Politics and International Relations from the University of Johannesburg, South Africa (2009), and his Ph.D. from the Institute of Political Science at Leiden University, Netherlands (2012).
Prior to his current position, Dr. Sıradağ was a faculty member in the Department of International Relations at the International University of Sarajevo (2011-2016) and at the Department of Global Studies at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Saudi Arabia (2016-2020).
His academic interests focus on Turkey-Africa relations, Gulf-Africa relations, emerging powers in Africa, and the Horn of Africa.
