Since 1964, TRT has been at the forefront of Turkish broadcasting. In recent years, with the continued growth in geopolitical importance of Turkey, the impact of TRT has continued to grow. In 2015, we penetrated the international broadcasting world with the launch of TRT World and, in this short period of time, we have continually produced work that has been heard around the world.
Through our various platforms, TRT aims to continue to introduce new perspectives and approaches to the stories that have shaped, and continue to shape our world. We continue to see what is not being seen and to give a voice to stories that are not often heard. We will continue to place the human being at the core of our perspective and broadcast the news to the world with passion and without fear. Our team of internationally acclaimed journalists and media professionals will continue to unflinchingly search for and uncover the truth of every story we report.
The TRT World Forum is a platform for discussion for academics, decision makers, influencers and policymakers and a platform where both dominant and un-heard voices from various fields can come together. As such, the forum is explicitly designed to address the most critical issues of our time, and in keeping with TRT’s editorial line, will give the human being its rightful place at the core of the discussion. At TRT, we are on the side of the people, on the side of conscience, on the side of those who seek the betterment of our world and those aspiring to direct the flow of history.
